Welcome to Scotland's Central Bank

The Reserve Bank of Scotland will, when established following Scottish Independence and an enabling Act in the Scottish Parliament, conduct monetary policy in the best interests of Scotland. It will work to maintain a strong financial system in the interests of the people of Scotland and will issue banknotes for the new Scottish Pound .
